Biography: The most-fun-loving bureaucrat you’ll ever meet, Jonathan Elliot has flair for the dramatic quite at odds with his skill at paperwork. As a man who loved reading in general he picked up quite a bit of knowledge. Political theory, history, mythology, fantasy, science fiction, etc. he’d devour books like a starving dog would a steak. Being scouted by CRUOR Corp was his lucky day, and he woke up the next evening with a paler complexion. His manager quickly realized that he’d made quite the catch, but spread the rumor Jon was not right in the head to prevent his prime talent from being poached. Jon’s habit of referencing popular culture and obscure topics helped sell it. While his coworkers and management were politicking and doing more literal backstabbing, Jon was working. Eventually a position opened up above him and he got moved without anyone noticing. After reading his manager’s reports, Jon saw an opportunity. His bosses know he’s just eccentric and the people under him think he’s too crazy to cross. The way Jon sees it playing the slow game has no consequences. He doesn’t want power or wealth, he just wants a good-paying job with excellent benefits and security. Just don’t mess with his stuff.
