Application to The Great Hellspires

OOC:
1. I can usually spend 3-4 hours online 4-6 days a week.
2. We all start out human, but I'm switching to Vampire.
2. In the 5:30-9:30 area.
4. OOC is out of character, as in my "real self." I'd mainly use to clarify things I don't know understand and general discussion. IC is In Character, and it would mainly be used for fleshing out my character and getting things done in-game.

IC:
1. "Your group looks like it's going places and I want to be a part of that. What I'm looking for isn't exactly power, it's gaining more control."
2. "My name is Jonathan Elliot, recent addition to the staff of CRUOR Corp. Well recent addition to the 'inside staff,' I'd been working there a while beforehand."
3. "You need someone to organize a group, that's me. You need someone to make plans, that's me. You need someone to work with people, that's me."
4. "I'm completely dependable, trust me. I'm not one for putting knives in backs. Besides, I don't need to betray you to get where I want to in your group and betrayal is bad for morale."
5. "You're the manager, he's a substitute, I can fully understand your concern."
Jonathan reads the contract very carefully, looking for the words "soul," "eternal," and any synonyms or substitutes. Spending a month studying contract law was worth it.

ALYTHIA CROWLEY

1: How much do you intend to roleplay within the Coven?
As much as time allows, roughly the same as Balthazar Crowley will. I am a student and therefore it might be difficult to make the time, yet I would expect to do it twice to three times a week.

2: What race are you?
Human vampire.

3: What time of day (GMT) would you usually be able to play?
18.00 onwards.

4: Finally, and most important for OOC, what is the difference between OOC and IC and explain what this means in terms of behaviour.
In Character you get to be whoever you wish, and behave the way you feel whoever you created would. This does not mean that anyone should be disrespectful at any time, it just means that in character our characters may do things we wouldn’t otherwise do. This leads to a healthy interaction between players.


IC INTERVIEW

You stand in front of Balthazar Crowley as he sits on his throne. He arises and offers you a drink of his favourite vintage, ancient Roman blood. He stares you down and then smiles as he asks the following.

1: Why are you really here? Is it to gain power? Perhaps to find shelter from those hunters? Tell me your reason.

I am your wife, silly. But sure, if you want a formal interview, I’ll tell you everything, even if you know this already. I am the one who has loved you ever since she saw you. The one who will always protect you and be loyal to you. I am here to care for you, to protect you and to serve you for as long as I exist. I have no interest in being here other than be yours and live with you. As to power, I seek none other than knowledge. I am happy to help you achieve your goals.

2: Who are you? Hellspires accepts many people, supernatural and non-supernatural. But in order for them to be accepted...They must be tamed, they must make themselves known to the Lord of Hellspires.

I think you have known me well enough, darling. You know I can get pretty… Feisty... Sometimes.
*She smiles suggestively, winking*

3: You probably know of our ranks. The military, the crafters, the inquisition, etc...What branch would suit you? What do you see yourself as?

Your protector. I will not join any order. I will support you in all your activities, but will remain impartial myself and will maintain one goal and one goal only: to protect you. Anyway, you need it, you’re too trusting, dear. And you know how I get if someone even thinks of hurting you…
*Smiles wickedly while remembering the fate of one of those ill-wishers  resting in her bloody hands.*

4: Are you loyal to me, to Balthazar Crowley?

You, and no-one else. Until my end.
*She half-bows in a gesture of deep respect*

5: I will not always be around (due to University, oocly) and so I will have a dear friend of mine be running this Coven when I am busy with matters of more importance...But you do understand that if I give an order and he gives another that you follow me...You understand this, yes?

My dear, if you’re away, I am going to be away with you. There is no universe out there in which you want me, and I want you, and we are not together. Not if I can stop it. And there is nothing anyone could tell me or do to me (although they’re welcome to try and suffer the consequences) that would shake my loyalty to you.
*She leans over and kisses her loving husband in the forehead.*
Now that I’ve done the formal interview, are you satisfied, dear? Good. Anything to please you, love. Now I must go. That book I told you about is really interesting. Do you want some more of that blood, hon? I can get it from the cellar.. it’s on the way. Plus, that way I can examine the next applicant along the line. And dinner is still at nine, right? I’ll put that new dress on… I hope it’s not too… revealing… for you.
*She leans onto Balthazar again, touching his chest lightly and whispering softly in his ear*
You can tear it off me afterwards.

1: How much do you intend to roleplay within the Coven?
1: As much time as needed and allowed. My schedule is diverse so I can not really pinpoint a good time frame. I suppose as much is as needed and then some?

2: What race are you? (Werewolf, human, Vampire)
2: Vampire

3: What time of day (GMT) would you usually be able to play? (This is so I know when to plan events, etc).
Again, no particular time but anywhere after the sun goes down would be most fitting!

4: Finally, and most important for OOC, what is the difference between OOC and IC and explain what this means in terms of behavior
4: OOC is the state in which life sucks and there are no supernatural creatures (That I know of). But, it's the time in which I act as my normal self and do normal non-vampire like things. IC is when I am roleplaying as my chosen character in which I enjoy and use to help others enjoy. My behavior is usually whatever the situation demands and is how I see IC behavior to be like.

1: "I am here for whatever it is most of our kind seek. Power, wealth, influence. These things I have. These things I no longer desire...not fully at least. I am here because your power attracted me. For what my true purpose here is remains to be seen. By even me. Hopefully, we will both discover this in due time."

2: Who are you? Hellspires accepts many people, supernatural and non-supernatural. But in order for them to be accepted...They must be tamed, they must make themselves known to the Lord of Hellspires.
2: "I am Ulfgär Holm, son of the Jarl of Aros. Many would have called me a pagan or a savage. While I can not have claimed to have tamed this nature I do claim to have transitioned into a more...respectable man. At least by mortal standards. I do not suppress my nature nor do I deny it. I simply use it to my advantage as all of our kind should. It has seen me through a millennium and I hope it to see me through another."

3: You probably know of our ranks. The military, the crafters, the inquisition, etc...What branch would suit you? What do you see yourself as?
3: "While I am a firm practitioner of magic I am not as fanatic as I would assume most who take the Inquisition route to be. I suspect I shall be better suited to serving you with blade, gun and fist. All of which I am most proficient, I assure you."

4: Are you loyal to me, to Balthazar Crowley?
4: "No more loyal to you than you're to me, Mr. Crowley. Do not take that as a sign of disrespect. I simply mean that should I give you my loyalty freely and prematurely it would assuredly be foolish on my part. Though I do say this. Once I pledge my service to someone the chain that binds us does not break on my side of the links."

5: I will not always be around (due to University, oocly) and so I will have a dear friend of mine be running this Coven when I am busy with matters of more importance...But you do understand that if I give an order and he gives another that you follow me...You understand this, yes?
5: "Hopefully this will not happen. But if it does, be assured in knowing that I know who sits the throne of the Hellspires."

Balthazar Crowley looks over you again and smiles as he guides passes you a parchment then points to a table with quills and bottles of blood. His mysterious smile never leaving his face.

"Sign the parchment...Seal your loyalty as a true member of Hellspires and be given all the advantages of this Coven...In exchange for your complete and total loyalty."

Ulfgär signs the parchment, sealing his service in blood.
